Use your masking tape to create a grid with four vertical and five horizontal lines.​

Add all colours from your kit to the palette knife at once, keeping them mostly unmixed. Time to start making marks.

Press and drag the palette knife across each square. Vary the flow, strokes and colour so every square feels different, but still cohesive.

Continue until the full grid is filled. Keep using all colours in every mark so the piece stays cohesive. Always apply a generous amount of paint for a textured finish.

Once fully dry, remove the tape carefully to reveal the clean grid.
