Use your masking tape to create a rectangle off-centre on the right hand side of your canvas.

Mix beige with plenty of white to create a soft beige, then paint inside the rectangle with your brush. Let it dry.

Paint used: 705 + 116

Use the edge of your palette knife to add black marks diagonally across the rectangle. Mix thicker strokes with a few thin dragged lines.

Paint used: 759

Mix rich navy with white to create a soft dusty blue, then layer it over parts of the black marks with the palette knife. Leave some black showing through.​

Paint used: 703 + 116

Use the brush to add a few small white and beige marks, then peel off the tape once everything is dry.​
